It really does work!
Expensive but do actually work! Went to India with two of these and had no problem with drinking local tap water that had been cleaned through this water holder. Easy to charge with USBC socket and lasted for weeks. No issue with smells or taste. Would recommend.

Keeps water fresh, but no usb c in 2026 is criminal
Water taste good and fresh. Even after months of usage, it is really good. But micro usb port in 2026 is absolutely criminal. I have to carry this ancient cable just for the bottle. Which is insane. Battery life is good though.

Cant live without it
As somone with the immune system of a sea cucumber, I simply cannot live without this bottle. I wish I knew that this existed sooner!Works as stated, the UV is strong, and it not only cleans the bottle, but also the water inside, which is great when you're not so sure about the water that you're drinking, its like a saftey net (but water should be drinking safe anyway).Thank Mia Marbles for reviewing this! If she didnt I would of never of known of its existence, cant live without it now.

Premium design, great capacity, UV feels gimmicky
Great design- love how premium the bottle feels- good quality stainless steel (no smells whatsoever when drinking from) which illustrates the quality of materials used. Leak proof and I like the the case it comes with to help protect it from scratches. Perfect size for carrying out and about and doesn't feel heavy at all.3 stars as unfortunately the UV light stopped working after pretty much 2 uses which destroys the entire purpose of this bottle. UV lid replacements (and the actual bottle itself) are also very expensive and if you are using it for day-day drinking from UK tap water its generally quite unnecessary/gimmicky. Interesting concept however.

Just the gift for my grandson
This is what my grandson asked for, for Christmas. It cost more than I usually spend but he was so keen to have it (maybe his friends have one too?!). It was delivered ahead of time and looks very smart, but I can't say whether it works or not as it's a present for Christmas, so is still in its box.

Luxury Water Bottle
Bought this after some positive reviews and for the promise of a clean smelling metal bottle all the time.It absolutely delivers, one quick tap on the lid and the bottle cleans for 60 seconds and then auto cleans every 2 hours. I use it every day, sometimes leaving water in for quite a while and it always smells fresh and clean.It keeps the water nice and cold and I think this design with the silicone sleeve is actually better than the other model, it's really comfortable to hold and sturdy stood on a surface.Another pro is the lip, it makes it so much easier and more comfortable to drink from than other metal bottles I've had.Battery life on the standard setting is about a month and it charges in am hour or so.It also comes nicely presented, almost like a bottle of whisky.Undoubtedly pric

Strong metallic smell - returned
I was unable to use the bottle due to its strong metallic smell. I only ever used it for water and tried to wash it with normal dish soap and bicarbonate of soda, as Larq advised, but nothing worked. Couple of hours after putting water in, it smelled so strong I couldn’t drink it.Thermal insulation is very poor. Bottle isn’t particularly light. Overall, v overpriced for v unclear benefits:Amazon helpfully arranged a refund.
